“Can engineering change one word in the welcome email?”
Zed:
You can. Edit the template, save, it's live. Every edit is a new version you can look back at.
“Newsletters live in one tool, onboarding in another. Neither knows who the customer is.”
Zed:
One contact record: lists, tags and details like plan or company. Newsletters, automations and events all read from it.
“Did that email even go out? Did they open it?”
Zed:
Logs show every send. Failures explain themselves. Newsletters show opens, clicks and top links.

A day in the life of a lazy email
08:00
Someone signs up.
Your app sends one event. A rule puts them on a list. Joining that list starts your onboarding automation.
event → list: onboarding
10:00
It waits.
So you don't have to. Set each wait in minutes, hours or days. Drag it on the canvas. Pause the whole thing with one switch.
wait: 2 days
14:00
It reacts.
Behavior rules watch what they do, and what they don't. Quiet for 5 days? Send a nudge. Upgraded? Stop the onboarding emails.
inactive 5d → nudge
18:00
It delivers.
Your own SMTP sends. Every email lands in Logs, and failures come with a plain-English reason. Zed goes back to bed.

Don't see yours? Zed reads the docs so you don't have to.
What are behavior emails?
+
Emails sent because of what someone does, or stops doing, in your product. You write the rule in plain English, AI turns it into a rule and a draft once, and you check both before it runs. Sending is done by plain rules, never by AI. Behavior emails are on the Enterprise plan.
Can I run Mailazy from Claude or ChatGPT?
+
Yes, on every plan. Add https://mcp.mailazy.com as a connector and log in. Ask for a newsletter, a report or a cleaned-up list. It previews everything and waits for your yes before it sends or deletes.
Do I need an engineer to use Mailazy?
+
Once. Your engineers add one API call so your app can send events. After that, lists, templates, automations and newsletters all run from the dashboard. You can also import contacts from a CSV yourself.
Where do the emails actually send from?
+
From your own SMTP provider, such as SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark or Amazon SES. Your domain, your reputation. You set up SPF and DKIM at that provider.
Can I run more than one product?
+
Yes. An organization holds any number of products. Each product keeps its own contacts, templates, settings and email history.
What happens when someone unsubscribes?
+
They get a hosted page where they can leave one list or everything from you. The email also carries the one-click unsubscribe header. Blocked people are never emailed again, and we keep the contact.
Do I get open and click numbers?
+
For newsletters, yes: open rate, click rate, top clicked links and per-recipient activity. Automation and event emails appear in Logs, but are not tracked for opens or clicks.
Who is Mailazy for?
+
Product managers, growth and lifecycle marketers, and the engineers who support them, at B2B and B2C SaaS companies.
